"No mushroom picking" ... Do people otherwise pick mushrooms in state parks?

Yes, yes they do. Many mushrooms in Clifornia State parks are edible and considered delicasies. Or, however you spell that. But yes, they do. Where else? You wouldn't find them on the side of the curb near the freeway or anything... Well, maybe in Europe...
